Distribution Model

Pharmaceutical wholesale distribution, built lean.

An asset-light model that uses a qualified pharmaceutical 3PL for physical operations — so we can focus on what matters most: supplier relationships, customer service, inventory intelligence, and compliance.

The Model

Asset-light, compliance-first.

Kalder Pharmaceuticals is building a pharmaceutical wholesale distribution business using a qualified pharmaceutical third-party logistics provider instead of operating its own warehouse at launch.

This model minimizes fixed infrastructure costs while maintaining the highest standards for product integrity, chain of custody, and regulatory compliance. Our 3PL partner handles the physical supply chain — Kalder retains full control of the business relationships, purchasing decisions, compliance obligations, and technology.

The same lean architecture that enables a fast, efficient launch is designed to scale as we expand into new product categories, geographies, and eventually owned pharmaceutical products.

Initial Product Focus

  • Non-controlled prescription generic pharmaceuticals
  • Ambient-storage solid oral dosage forms
  • Tablets and capsules with consistent market demand
  • Products with multiple authorized supply sources
  • Products with manageable inventory cost and adequate shelf life
  • Categories with documented customer need

Product catalog will be published following supplier qualification, licensing, and launch readiness.

How It Works

From supplier to customer.

1

Supplier Qualification

Identify, evaluate, and authorize pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors to our supplier network under documented qualification procedures.

2

Customer Qualification

Verify that each customer holds appropriate state and federal licenses to purchase pharmaceutical products before establishing a trading relationship.

3

Purchasing & Inventory

Use demand data and margin analytics to make disciplined purchasing decisions. Product is received and stored at our qualified 3PL facility.

4

Order Fulfillment

Customer orders are processed through our system and fulfilled by our 3PL partner, maintaining chain-of-custody documentation through delivery.

5

Traceability

Every product transaction is tracked at the lot level, aligned with DSCSA requirements and our own internal quality standards.

Responsibility Model

Clear ownership at every level.
